Continuing Education

Join the New Mexico Recycling Coalition for tours, trainings and networking opportunities throughout 2024 and earn continuing education units (CEUs). NMRC partnered with the New Mexico Environment Department: Solid Waste Bureau (NMED:SWB) to offer CEUs that can be used towards recertification as a recycling, compost, transfer station and landfill certified operator. Certified operators need to get 24 hours of CEU credits within three years and each of these day-long trainings will offer 8 CEUs.  The trainings include tours and hands-on activities and are open to everyone, not just certified operators. 2024 Trainings

The NM Recycling Coalition, in partnership with the NM Environment Department: Solid Waste Bureau will host the 2024 Recycling Facility Operators Course on March 19-21 and the 2024 Compost Facility Operators Course on November 19-21. Both courses will be in Albuquerque. Learn more and register to attend here.
