2011 Recycling Workshop: Hub and Spoke Recycling - The Next Generation
This FREE one-day training will focus on Pay -As-You-Throw, NMRC's Rural Recycilng Resources (R3) Cooperative and rural recycling and will be held June 9th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the UNM Science and Technology Park Rotunda in Albuquerque. Following the meeting R3 Co-op members will meet for one hour to discuss details of being members of the Co-op. This training is funded through a Department of Energy American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant that NMRC received under Award Number DE-EE0003799.

Rural Recycling Travel Stipends Available

If you are interested in receiving a travel stipend and you are driving more than 100 miles roundtrip to attend, please first verify that you are an eligible community per the Department of Energy American Recovery and Reinvestment Act eligibility list found here

If you are representing an eligible community and traveling more than 100 miles roundtrip to attend, please note that you'd like to receive a travel stipend on your registration form (register ). These are available on a first-come-first-served basis. NMRC will initially award one stipend per community. If there are additional funds available, NMRC may be able to award more than one stipend per eligible community. This will be determined closer to the date of the training.
