Santa
Fe Tour: 8 AM - 5 PM
Check out the
under-construction Santa Fe Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and
transfer station, the second
public processing facility of its kind in the state. This facility handles traditional recycleables, e-waste and green waste. Transport provided to Santa
Fe, first visiting the transfer station and then proceeding to Santa Fe's
historic downtown plaza for lunch, shopping, museums and
exploration. Lunch on your own.
Albuquerque Tour: Noon - 4 PM
This tour leaves right
after the morning sessions complete and heads to visit Albuquerque's
Intermediate Processing Facility, landfill and composting facility.
Meet the facility operators, tour their facilities and ask lots of
questions about their successes and challenges.
