The New Mexico Recycling
Coalition, the RoadRunner Chapter of SWANA (Solid Waste
Association of North America) and the New Mexico Environment
Department: Solid Waste Bureau will jointly host a bio-regional
conference catering to the needs of solid waste, recycling and
composting professional working in arid climates.
NMRC Members will greatly
benefit from this regionalized conference with a greater diversity
of speakers and networking opportunities.
SWANA members who have
attended the past Arid Climate Landfill Symposium (held every 3-4
years), say that this is the most valuable SWANA conference in that
it addresses their specific needs for arid climate and rural issues.
Don't miss the premier
recycling conference in the arid states of the West and Midwest that caters to individuals
new to the field & season recyclers alike!
Enjoy networking with recycling,
composting and solid waste coordinators from cities, counties, state government, federal agencies, Native-American tribes, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and private businesses. The Conference will include tours of recycling and waste reduction facilities in the Albuquerque
and Santa Fe area, 18-20 concurrent educational sessions, a Monday
afternoon Special Topic Roundtables, a Monday morning Golf
Tournament, plus an expanded exhibit hall showcasing companies that provide recycling,
composting and solid waste equipment and services, as well as the New Mexico Recycling Awards Ceremony.
