The New Mexico Recycling Coalition, the RoadRunner Chapter of SWANA (Solid Waste Association of North America) and the New Mexico Environment Department: Solid Waste Bureau will jointly host a bio-regional conference catering to the needs of solid waste, recycling and composting professional working in arid climates.

NMRC Members will greatly benefit from this regionalized conference with a greater diversity of speakers and networking opportunities.

Getting from the airport to the hotel:  Call Sunport Shuttle at 505-883-4966.  Rates are $13.00 one way + $5.00 for each additional person.  They have a booth on the baggage claim level at the airport where you check in. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and taxi cabs are available as well.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS

 

New Mexico attendees to the 2006 "Managing Waste in the Wide Open Spaces Recycling Conference", who are certified operators of landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities, and composting facilities may acquire CEUs to apply towards their recertification.  Nine credits will be offered with partial credit available for attending only part of the conference.

 

SWANA CEU Credits:

Out-of-state and New Mexican attendees can receive SWANA-certified credits for their attendance of this conference. Up to 10 credits per field will be offered in SWANA CEUs.

 

CEU Forms will be available at the conference and will be e-mailed out to attendees before the conference as well. You will be required to have the moderator at the sessions you attend sign and date the form.
